Our Mission Statement
“At Motion Church, we exist to worship God and bring glory to him by exalting Jesus Christ inside and outside the church. We strive, in the power He supplies, to love each other as Christ has loved us, and to work with Him to fulfill God’s mission in reconciling the world to Himself.”
Motion’s Ministry Values
Point the Church to Christ (Rooted)
God roots our identity in Christ Jesus and in what He has done for us, not in our performance; what we can do for Him. His life in us and His love working through us compel us to love and to serve Him in every area of our lives. He is our life, our great King, and our living hope!
Teach Believers to Love the Body of Christ (Rooted)
An individualistic approach to Christianity hurts everyone. What’s in it for me is the wrong question. We belong to the Body of Christ, we need each other!
Family Based Ministry (Growing)
At Motion Church, family matters! We minister to the whole family, striving to equip families to be all that God has called them to be.
Real Life Discipleship (Growing)
At Motion Church, because we know it won’t happen by accident, we work to facilitate fellowship and discipleship relationships.
Point Unsaved to Christ (Reaching)
A Christ-centred focus within the church results in a Christ-centred focus outside the church. The more we look to Him, the more His agenda becomes our own. Every follower of Christ should be missional!
Attend to the Vulnerable and the Marginalized (Reaching)
As bearers of God’s image, every human being carries immeasurable value. Defending and caring for those who cannot defend or adequately care for themselves is the essence of Christian ministry.
